FAQ

Questions people
often ask.

Inside the app, Trip the dog and Track the cat answer you. Here, we do.

What is Bagintravel?

A travel social network and the app to plan trips with your people. You discover trips from your friends, content creators and other travellers; you build yours, tailored to you, in under a minute, with a day-by-day route and recommendations for flights, stays, activities, restaurants and transport; and we go with you before, during and after: map, weather, bookings, expenses and documents, even offline. You book with each provider yourself.

How is a trip created?

You choose a destination (you can combine up to 6), dates, where you’re leaving from, who’s travelling, pace, style and budget. If you like, you add what you don’t want to miss or would rather avoid. It’s usually ready in under a minute; long trips take a little longer.

Where do the places in the trip come from?

From our guide to each destination (94 so far). With them and what you tell us, we put your trip together: each day’s stops close to each other, anything closed that day moved to another, and a heads-up on what’s worth booking ahead. Times, prices and entry requirements are for guidance only: check them before you travel.

Is it free? What does Premium include?

Getting started is free: the free plan (Prueba) includes one full trip of up to 4 days, one time only. Explorador (1 trip a month) and Nómada (3 a month) allow trips of up to 21 days (with Nómada, one a month of up to 30), full access to other travellers’ long routes, inviting your Bagges and PDF export. Prices: Explorador €4.99/month and Nómada €9.99/month, plus VAT (€5.99 and €11.99 including VAT); cheaper yearly. Single trip: €2.99 + VAT (€3.49).

Does it work offline?

Your trips are saved on your phone, so you can check them without signal (on the plane too). To create a new trip, stamp by GPS or publish, you do need a connection.

Can I travel with friends?

Yes: your Bagges are your friends on Bagintravel. With Explorador or Nómada you create an invite link or QR code, and whoever opens it joins the trip, with group chat, shared expenses and documents.

How do I share a trip?

From the trip itself: send it to a friend, export it as a PDF, copy the link or share it on other social networks with the route image, which we make for you. If you publish it on your profile, other travellers can see it, save it or tap “Travel here” to make their own version with their dates.

What are the map and the passport?

Each day of the trip comes with its map and the stops in order. And your passport is your travel story: every trip you mark as visited adds a stamp, colours the world map and adds a country.

Who can see my trips?

Nobody, until you tap “Publish on my profile”. Published trips are seen by the community; if your account is private, only followers you approve. And you can remove it from your profile whenever you like.

Do I need an account?

Yes, to save your trips and keep them if you change phones. You sign in with your email, Apple or Google.

Do you create travel content?

Ask for your creator code: it’s yours to share with your community. Write to soporte@bagintravel.app or go to “Creators and affiliates” at the bottom of the site.

Is Bagintravel a travel agency?

No. We plan your trip and take you to book in the right place (often the official website), but you book flights, hotels and activities directly with each provider.

How do I reach a person?

Write to soporte@bagintravel.app. The team replies.
