Frequently asked questions
What day trips can you take from Pamplona?
Puente la Reina, Estella, Olite and Ujué; the source of the Urederra, the Bardenas Reales and the Irati Forest; and Elizondo, Zugarramurdi and Roncesvalles in the north.
Bardenas or Olite?
You can combine them: Olite is on the way to the Bardenas, and in one day you can see the palace and the desert.
When should you visit the Irati Forest?
In autumn, when the beeches turn yellow and red; in summer it is cool and green.
