Frequently asked questions
What day trips can you take from London?
Windsor, Oxford, Cambridge and Brighton, an hour or less away; and Bath, Stonehenge and the Cotswolds for a long day.
Oxford or Cambridge?
Both are worth it: Oxford is bigger and grander; Cambridge is quieter, with punting on the river.
How do you get to Stonehenge from London?
It is about two hours by road. The easiest option is an organised tour that combines it with Bath, or the train to Salisbury and a bus from there. Book tickets in advance.
